Wow!
2 episodes in 2 consecutive weeks!
This week, we catch up on a couple of listener e-mails:
Ken had another tip for getting the best out of the Adaptive Noise Reduction plugin,
Steve asked about headphones,
(I’d suggest checking out both GoodCans and Headphone Reviews),
and Jim chimed in with some extra uses for the Channel Mixer (like mid-side decode/encode).
If you’re new to the Mid-Side technique, read up on it at wikipedia.
Then it’s on to exploring some funky doppler effects.

Today, Adobe announced officially that the next version of Audition will run on both the Windows and Mac operating systems.
This is great news for the Mac community who have been screaming out for years for the ability to use Audition on their OS.
On top of this announcement comes news that late 2010, there will be a public beta.
If you’d like to be a part of that, sign up here.
There’s lots more I’d love to tell you, but the word from Adobe is, “if it’s on the Labs page, you can talk about it. If it’s not, then you can’t”.
So, guess you’ll just have to keep an ear right here!

This week, a quick look at the Hiss Reduction tool,
followed by a tour of the Noise Reduction tool (in my opinion, one of Audition’s major selling points).

And what a rip-snorter of a start to the year!
One week in, and already, I’m letting you down.
Sorry gang.
Shelton and I had plans to record, but something came up at his end.
And I did plan on recording a BTP, but hit a bit of a brick wall.
Grrr.

Hi all,
There seems to be some issues with manual downloading of mp3 files at the moment.
I am aware of the issue, and will get it resolved asap.
Sorry for the inconvenience, folks.
